Ctrl+ Collective RMIT

Ctrl+ is a student-led and run design club in RMIT, I am the president of
the club for 2024 and 2025.

Ctrl+ organising event and workshop for student from different background
to expand their knowlege of design and creative, also helps people
connect with others in the industy.

From 2023 I joined Ctrl+ and designing posters, making style guide
for social media feed, running workshops and help design and
produce merchandise.

EVENTS

During the time in Ctrl+, I’ve arrange various workshop and event with committees in the club. Besides from creative workshop like sticker making, screen printing and zine making, we also hold markets at every end of the semester, which provides student a chance to showcase their art works. These markets helped a lot of new artists and designers to get to know the art and craft market, also provides a platform for people to have a look at other’s art works.

We also holding social events and career sessions, we invite people who works in design industy, RMIT alumni and recruiters to give out suggestions on student’s resume and portfolio, to give them a peek of current market condition and help them get ready for future career.

MERCHANDISE

During the time in Ctrl+, we also managed to create and sell merchandises. We’ve designed T-shirt and stickers to sell, and more things going on at later 2025. We aiming to use all the recourses locally and sustainable, help support local business.
I was involved in designing the graphic and producing, also photograph.

GRAPHIC DESIGN

Ctrl+ provide committees a lot of chance to design on different medium, from posters to banners, social media feeds and general style guide.
I’ve done various post design and style guides, that provides me a great opportunity to train myself and get some practise of graphic designing.
